New voyeurism: Gamers become watchers

Like a player in one of the games already available on your site, entrepreneur Justin Kan has found a second life.

Cannes experience Internet fame in 2006 when he started Justin.tv and broadcast details of everyday life around the world. Five years later, with 30 million people a month using the site to watch video streams of their own, Kahn decided to refocus the attention of his 45 person team for the next big thing.

The result is TwitchTV, rapidly growing site that allows users to broadcast to play video games to a global audience. Since its launch in June, the site has attracted 12 million regular viewers. Their number increases by 11% per month.
